2010-11 School Report Cards Available for Review

Last Updated Jan 2012
Each year, the Oregon Department of Education prepares a report for every school and district in the state. These report cards include data on student testing performance, attendance and graduation rates, staffing, and other statistical information; they also provide both state and federal ratings of the schools and districts based on formulas that take various subsets of the data into account.

Per state law, school districts must ensure all parents have access to their local school and district report cards by January 15. In the past, this has meant we had to mail hard copies to all families. Now, thanks to the mandate relief bill that passed the State Senate last year (SB800), we can use more cost-effective and environmentally-friendly ways to communicate the information.

You can find the reports in both English and Spanish on our website under
Schools/2010-11 State Report Cards and on ODE's website under Reports/AYP & Report Cards. Many of our schools have also posted reports on their own websites. In addition, you will find a hard copy of both the District's and the school's report posted on each school's community bulletin board. Hard copies of the report can be requested from your school office or from the Communications Department. If translation is needed for a language other than English and Spanish, please contact our Office of Equity at 503-844-1500.
