Hilhi Wrestles for the Heart
Last Updated Jan 2012
Hilhi's Varsity Wrestling team will be wrestling for a cause during their final home dual meet of the season by dedicating the evening to the American Heart Association.
Heart disease is still the #1 killer of all, causing one out of three deaths each year. In addition, more people die from heart disease than from all forms of cancer combined. So in an effort to educate the wrestlers to the notion that disease can transcend all aspects of life, the coaches have asked them to wear red that night. All proceeds from the event, including entrance fees, will be donated to the American Heart Association.
Please plan to attend on Thursday, February 2, 7:00 p.m. in the Hilhi gymnasium to recognize Hilhi's senior wrestlers, cheer on the entire varsity squad, and support the effort to defeat heart disease.
