Thirty-one Staff Members Honored as Crystal Apple Award Nominees

Congratulations are in order for 31 Hillsboro School District staff members who were nominated by co-workers, parents, or even students for a coveted Crystal Apple Award.
Sponsored by the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, the Crystal Apple Awards honor staff members who go above and beyond to embody excellence in education. Nominations are accepted in three categories: Licensed, Classified, and Administrator. During the awards dinner on Thursday, February 23, at the Tuality Health Education Center, three nominees in each category will be announced as winners of the award. Tickets are $50 each ($15 from each ticket goes to the Hillsboro Schools Foundation!) and are available by visiting the Chamber’s website or calling Kris Carico at 503-726-2145 by Friday, February 17.
