Century High School to Webcast National School Athletics/Healthcare Conference

The National Secondary School Athletic Healthcare Conference announced Tuesday that Century High School will be a designated Webcast facility for Oregon. The Webcast is being co-sponsored by the Oregon Athletic Trainers' Society and is one of only two sites in the Western United States. Taking place on July 15, the conference will be broadcast live from 12:30 to 6 p.m. at Century High School. Interested participants can attend at the Century High School Conference Hub at no charge, or watch and interact live from their own computers.The National Secondary School Athletic Healthcare Conference is a virtual conference for athletic trainers, team physicians, coaches, parents, administrators and anyone else involved in high school athletic healthcare.

Attendees will interact with local and national medical experts as they share their experiences and innovative methods in improving the healthcare for high school athletics. The conference will cover topics ranging from preventative treatment and early detection of sport-related concussion and other medical conditions' sports nutrition best practices, steps for improving health and safety at high schools, and much more. Sponsorship opportunities are available at the national, state and local levels. The Webcast Facility Moderator will be Shelly Jones, Oregon Athletic Trainers Society president and Tuality Healthcare athletic trainer at Century High School.
