Lincoln Street Elementary School opened in fall 2008 in the heart of historic downtown Hillsboro. Respecting the history of the neighborhood, Lincoln Street’s design incorporates the traditional architecture of the early 20^th century and recreates the “Enter to Learn” archway of the J. B. Thomas Middle School. Its playing fields, when completed in 2010, will serve the recreational needs of the school and community.
