Public Involvement is Encouraged The public is invited to attend the public Board meetings to gain a better understanding of school district business and the role of the School Board. The public is also invited to address the Board during the public input portion of the regular monthly Board meetings.Individuals interested in addressing the Board should arrive a few minutes prior to the scheduled monthly meetings to complete and submit a public input form.

Monthly Board Meetings Regular Board meetings are held in the Administration Center Board Room at 3083 NE 49th Place, Hillsboro, Oregon (See map), unless otherwise stated. Policy BD states, "One regular Board meeting will be held each month. The meeting schedule will be established at the organizational meeting in July but may be changed by the Board with proper notice. The purpose of each monthly meeting will be to conduct the regular Board business." The Board agenda and packet will be posted the Friday afternoon prior to the upcoming Board meeting.
Work Sessions and Special Meetings In addition to the monthly Board meetings, the Board schedules work sessions and special meetings during the year to study and discuss District programs, issues, and goals. These meeting are also held in the Administration Center Board Room, located at 3083 NE 4th Place. Please refer to the individual agendas for the starting time of each meeting.
Board Meeting Agenda Information Board meeting agendas are available on the District website on Fridays prior to the scheduled board meetings - and they are available to view at all the District's schools 24 hours prior to the scheduled meetings. Board agendas are divided into three major categories: Consent, Action and Reports, which are outlined as follows:
