·        Do you have talent?  Do you dream of being on the X-Factor or Dancing With the Stars?  Do you want to be the next big thing like One Direction?  Well do we have a proposition for you.  Tryouts for Brown’s 2013 Talent Show are in just a few weeks.  Signups are outside of Mr. Corwin’s room, R10.  You must sign up by tomorrow.  Here are the ground rules:

-         Acts must be no more than 3 minutes in length

-         Background music must be the karaoke version or performed yourself

-         All songs, dancing, clothing, jokes, and other acts must be school appropriate

-         No fire will be allowed at this year’s talent show. 

-         If you have any questions, see Mr. Corwin or Mr. Striplin for details.

·        Students remember to bring in your picture packets or picture money back to the office by this Friday. 

·        Hey panthers don’t forget to check the front office for lost and found items.  They will be donated to charity at the end of the year if not claimed.

·        Today’s lunch special is 3 cheese French bread pizza.

• Parents are asked to make telephone contact when a student is absent or needs to be excused for an appointment, etc.
• After school hours, an answering machine is available to take your messages.
• If possible, please call the day or night number before the student is absent, and include the reason for absence. If this is not possible, please call the morning of the absence so teachers can be notified.
