We love our Evergreen students and are enjoying assisting them as they navigate through their middle school years and into young adulthood. Hillsboro Online Academy

Hillsboro Online Academy is a new learning option for students and is the newest school in the Hillsboro School District! The Academy features a rigorous yet flexible menu of online learning programs, designed to meet the varied needs of students and their families. An individual learning plan is central to the Academy's mission. Also core to the academy is the connection of students to careers and community. Daily Announcements for 2011-12

McTeacher Night: Evergreen's McTeacher Night is Thursday, May 17 from 5-8pm at the McDonald's near Costco. 20% of all the profits during that time slot will go toward Evergreen's PBIS program—which helps to fund your BOSS Bashes, rewards, raffles, and other prizes. Please invite your whole family to come out and support Positive Behavior Intervention and Support. Thank you and we'll see you there.

Glencoe Freshmen Information Night: Interested in knowing more about Glencoe High School before you or your student are there? Join us for the Incoming Freshmen Information Night on Wednesday, May 23 at 7:00pm at Evergreen. The evening will be presented by the Glencoe Counseling Center. There will be lots of information and details that will help make the transition smooth and ensure that you or your student find success. We want to make sure the transition to 9th grade is successful in every way, and this night will help students & parents feel prepared!

East Coast Trip: The meeting for the East Coast trip (summer of 2013) will be Wednesday, May 23 in the Evergreen Library from 5-6:30pm. The trip is open to current 8th, 7th & 6th graders. See Ms. Larsen for more information.

Calling All Library Books: All library books will be due no later than Tuesday, May 29.

End-of-Year Slideshow: The year is almost ending and we want to capture every second left for the end-of-year slide show. Please submit pictures of you and your friends or any pictures of students having fun to Mrs. Bywater in Room 42

Staff Appreciation Week: May 14-18 is Staff Appreciation Week.

Evergreen Tennis Club: Please pick up a registration form in the main office if you are interested in playing tennis. Lessons begin May 22nd and go thru May 31st.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser: Cookie Dough orders are TODAY—Tuesday, May 15!! No orders will be accepted after this date. Thank you!

Morning Entrance Reminder: Students may not enter the school in the morning until the first bus has pulled up to the school and starts letting students off! Students entering the building before that will be given a Tracker. Thank you!
