Thank You, Parent Club!: The Evergreen staff would like to thank our amazing Parent Club for the delicious Valentine's treats. Your kindness is very much appreciated!

Transfer Window Closing Soon: According to the district's new protocol, the priority window for 2010-11 school year transfers closes this Friday, February 12. If you would like to request a transfer for your student, please complete the transfer request paperwork on the district website (under Parents/Boundaries and Transfers) and submit it to the Communications Department at the District's Administration Office (3083 NE 49th Place, #201, Hillsboro, OR 97124 or fax to 503-844-1557). Parents will receive a letter no later than March 31 indicating whether or not the transfer request was approved.

Drama Poetry Skits: On Wednesday, February 10 at 7:00 pm in the Commons, the Drama Club is presenting a night of poetry skits. Come see your friends perform their amazing feats of memorization and performance!

Glencoe Curriculum Night: Mark your calendars and attend Glencoe High School's Freshmen Curriculum Night on February 11 at 6:30 pm @ Glencoe High School. This is a great opportunity to learn about the district's current high school diploma/graduation requirements, programs and challenging academic opportunities your student will be able to tap into--such as Freshman Focus, AVID, elective courses, and clubs & activities.

Evergreen Variety Show: Please join us for Evergreen's nighttime bash variety show on March 9 from 6:30-9:00 pm. Teachers and students can perform a variety of acts. If you can sing, dance, juggle, perform comedy, play an instrument, act, do human tricks, magic etc. then get ready to audition February 16-19. Sign-ups will be February 8-12.

6th Grade Parent Nights: Evergreen welcomes our incoming 7th graders and their parents for our annual '6th Grade Parent Nights.' On Tuesday, April 6 we welcome families from Free Orchards, Jackson, and McKinney; on Thursday, April 8 we welcome families from Lincoln Street, North Plains, and Patterson. Please plan to attend your session to learn more about Evergreen's curriculum, programs, and to meet the staff.
