Glencoe High School, established in 1980, is located in the northwest corner of Hillsboro, Oregon and serves the northern part of the district. The school is accredited through the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges. For the second year in a row Glencoe was recognized by the State of Oregon on the Oregon Report Card as "Exceptional"; one of six large high schools in the state to receive that recognition.
Glencoe offers eleven Advanced Placement classes, four second languages and has a full metal/welding and woods curriculum. Glencoe's engineering courses are part of the nationally renown Project Lead The Way (PLTW) and are housed in a lab made possible by grants from Intel. The Visual and Performing Arts program is recognized for its marching band, choral work, drama productions, sculpture and photography.
Athletics are a strong component within the culture of Glencoe, fielding teams that are highly successful in the Pacific Conference and state. The 2010 Girls Softball Team were State Champions! The 2007, 2008 and 2009 Girls Softball Teams as well as the 2007 Football Team placed 2nd in the state and the 2007 Boys Soccer Team were also State Champions.
