October through December is a busy time in Greenhouse!
Here is a brief snap-shot of some of what they'll be doing during this time period.
October 2012
- October 1 - Prepare and set up front entrance decorations for Back to School Night
- October 6 - Prepare and set up Fall ornamentations in the auditorium for Jeanine Stassen's retirement celebration
- October 12 - Begin harvesting horse chestnuts for garland.
- October 15 - Sales begin for Halloween trugs. Pumpkins grown by greenhouse students are included in the trug. To purchase contact warrend@hsd.k12.or.us
- October 16 - Prepare and set up decorations for the Fall concert
- October 23 - Prepare and set up flowers for Homecoming Court Introduction assembly.
- October 23 - Homecoming Court assembly flowers available for purchase after the assembly
- October 29 - November 30 - Horse chestnut garlands go on sale; $12 for 12 feet.
November 2012
- October 29 - November 30 - Horse chestnut garlands on sale, $12 for 12 feet.
- November 1 - Tentative start date for taking holdiday orders for beautiful stepping stones in new designs and sizes
- November 19 - Christmas wreaths designed by greenhouse students for their families
December 2012
- December 3 - Start taking orders for outdoor cedar holiday hanging baskets
