The Boys Golf Team just completed the most successful season in school history by finishing tied for 5th in this week’s 6A State Championships at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Oregon. The Tide made it to State after winning eight out of eight conference tournaments and claiming Glencoe’s first ever conference title. Senior Connor Tripp was the conference Medalist of the Year and Junior Jared Duvall made the All-tournament Team at State, finishing 10th as an individual.

EYF is a summer career exploration program for deaf and hard-of-hearing high school students who are entering their junior or senior year this fall. Glencoe Robotics Team Shockwave won the Rookie All Star Award at the FIRST Robotics Competition World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri. Competing with 400 of the best teams from around the world, Shockwave was judged as the best new team in their division and among the 4 best of over 300 rookie teams in the world. Team Shockwave won the Autodesk Oregon Rookie All Star Award in March which included an invitation to compete at the World Championship. The Rookie All Star Award is the most prestigious recognition given to first year teams.
