We need more ski racers! We had a great season but we hope that next year we will have a larger team. Even if you have never skied before, join! We can teach you not only to ski but also to ski race! A good percent of the people who ski in the metro ski league have never skied before there high school years. The Glencoe team has had many new members that have never skied before. Parents are an essential part of ski racing. We need more parent volunteers at races (gate keepers, timers, course workers...). We need parents that can take pictures, at dryland and on the mountain. Also parents are needed to film the racers during races. |

| Glencoe Coaches | ||

Head Coach Ray Beeber: Ray has 25 years of coaching experiance. He has spent 15 years at Glencoe High School, 5 years at Mt. Hood Academy, and 5 as a certified ski instructor. Also he has been a PSIA certified instructor for 10 years and 15 years as a USSCAcertified coach.
Dan Larkins: Dan assisted Ray at Glencoe for 2 years and later became Hillhi's head coach for 6 years. The Hillhi team were Metro League Champions for many of those years.
Alan Siler: Alan raced at Hillhi and continued at University of Oregon and compeated at Nationals in Vermont. |
