Industrial Design/Drafting Focused Program of Study
The Industrial Design/Drafting CAM includes such careers as Computer Aided Design Drafter, Video Game Graphics Designer, Shoe/Clothing Designer, Mechanical Engineer, Civil Engineer, Inventor, CNC Operator, anyone designing or making parts for any item from small jewelry to large buildings. If you have an idea for an invention or a product this is the class to take to learn how to make a sample of your idea. We also have a complete Vinyl Sign making area and this is the class to start learning how to make vinyl graphics.
The Industrial Design/Drafting program at HilHi has 6 hours of college credits that can be completed by taking Drafting and Design 1, 2 and 3. Excellent post high school programs exist at Portland State University and Portland Community College.
How Do I Get Involved?
If you are interested in the Architecture Focused Program of Study:
1) Complete the Focused Program of Study forecasting worksheet and place that in your advisory folder.
2) Select this area on the Focused Program of Study Interest Sheet.
3) Use your worksheet to help you sign up for the following courses during forecasting:
