Electronics/Robotics Focused Program of Study
The Electronics/Robotics Focused Program of Study includes such careers as Intel Fab Technician, Consumer Electronics Sales or Repair, Audio-Sound-TV-Computer Repair, Automotive Electrical Service, Electronics Engineer, Robot Designer, Electrician, Inventor, or Computer Programmer.
This is the program where students create Electric/Pedal Hybrid Bicycles and ride them in an endurance contest/race. This contest is a favorite event for students and has been featured in the Oregonian and the Hillsboro Argus.
Intel has many scholarship programs to help students succeed in this field.
The Electronics/Robotics program at HilHi has 3 hours of college credits that can be completed by taking Electronics 1, 2 and 3. Excellent post high school programs exist at Portland State University and Portland Community College.
