GUIDELINES FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

  • Meet the criteria and eligibility requirements.
  • Meet the deadline date.
  • Follow all directions exactly.
  • Type the application whenever possible. If you have a choice between completing the application online or hard copy, choose the online application.
  • When asking teachers and counselors for recommendations, you are required to give them two weeks notice.
  • Supply them with a stamped, addressed envelope. Don't forget to thank them.
  • Start your own file; make copies of your recommendations and applications.
