NOTE: Florida has a large number of IB schools, and offers significant state support as well as scholarships for IB diploma holders. In the Freshman class of 3,000, SAT averages were 1158 for students from standard college prep programs 1177 for students from AP programs 1213 for students from IB programs
Virginia Technological College study:Grade Point averages greater than "B" for Freshman entered in fall 1985, by the end of the Freshman year.
