Hilhi Senior citizen's breakfast March 20, 2009The annual Hillsboro High School Senior Citizens' Breakfast was a resounding success with over 60 local seniors in attendance. The Sound of Music themed breakfast was coordinated by Hilhi Leadership students who look forward to the event every year. The sophomore class leaders arrived at 6:30am on their day off to cook pancakes and slice fruit, the freshmen washed dishes and the junior and senior class members served the meal and sat with the senior citizens. Breakfast was followed by students Jake Leonetti and Darren Hicks performing a comedy routine and Kitty Tibbals, Stephanie Ennes, and Will Schreiner performing a dance routine. Food not served during the breakfast was donated to Family Bridge Day Shelter.
