WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL
It
is a privilege to welcome each of you to the 2008-09 school year. There will be two new parking lots by the start of the school year:
· Main (east) parking lot - Staff parking and buses. Students riding the school bus will use the back gym door to enter and exit before and after school.
·
(west) parking lot
- Visitor parking. Parent drop-off and pick-up at the beginning and
the end of the day. Access to the building is on a temporary sidewalk
to the double doors, in the library corridor. This entrance will be
used for anyone entering Poynter during the school day and will be used
for parent drop off and pick up at the beginning and end of the day. I am looking forward to another exciting year in which the entire Poynter Community will work together to meet the needs of our students. You should have received by now a packet that contains your student handbook and other important opening of school information. These are also linked below. I encourage you to read the handbook thoroughly and to please call if you have any questions. Sincerely,
