	STUDENT RESOURCES Hillsboro Parks and Recreation Middle School Program: This program is for 7^th & 8^th graders. It is Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday, 3:25-4:45 p.m. An activity bus drops off students at the elementary school in their attendance area. The cost is $35/participant/sport. There are four six-week sports sessions: Fall I 9/18-10/26 Soccer & Volleyball Fall II 10/30 -12/7 Girls Basketball Winter 2/5 -3/15 Boys Basketball Spring 4/9-5/17 Track Portland Campfire The Portland Campfire After School Program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. in the library. The program focuses on homework support, leadership, community involvement, youth empowerment and teambuilding in a fun, youth centered environment. It is a “team” of 7^th & 8^th graders that work together with Hillsboro Parks & Recreation to help with recreational programming for this age group. They helped to create The Zone Day Camp offered this summer, promoted after school classes, and created and implemented the first ever all-middle-school event: Spring Into Summer at the Funky Friday FunFest on May 13^th.
