Dear Farmington View Elementary School Families and Staff,
I am writing today to let you know that Principal Jen McCalley will be taking a medical leave of absence through the end of the school year. The decision was not an easy one for her to make, but after consulting with her physician it was determined that a leave would allow her to best prioritize her health and wellbeing to ensure a full and speedy recovery.
During her absence, Natasha Echeverria will serve as the interim principal and will oversee the daily operations of the school. Ms. Echeverria did her student teaching at Farmington View before being hired on as a staff member in August 2017. For the next four years, she taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades at the school. She currently serves as Farmington View’s Instructional Coach and STEAM teacher on special assignment (TOSA). Her administrative experience includes being the Summer School lead in 2022, and stepping in as a substitute principal as needed in the 2022-23 school year. I am confident she will do an excellent job supporting Farmington View through the end of June.
Principal McCalley has expressed that she intends to share updates on her progress as she has more information, and greatly appreciates everyone’s understanding, support, and well-wishes during this time.
Feel free to reach out to Ms. Echeverria with any questions or assistance you may need at echevern@hsd.k12.or.us. You may also reach out to me at garciali@hsd.k12.or.us.
Sincerely,Lindsay Garcia

Echeverría si tienen cualquier pregunta o necesitan asistencia sobre algún asunto a echevern@hsd.k12.or.us. También puede comunicarse conmigo a garciali@hsd.k12.or.us.
Atentamente,
Lindsay García
