    Greetings North Plains Families!

If you haven't been by the school lately, take a drive and come on by!  The new student drop off/pick up is just about complete, the gym is looking beautiful, and a new reader board will be up and running soon!  Everything looks great!

Comprehensive Distance Learning is off to a great start!  There have been hiccups along the way of course, but now that we are in week three, hopefully most of those have been ironed out.  You can still reach out to Mrs. Bottema with questions or problems with techology, and of course there is help at the district level as well.  You can reach Mrs. Bottema at bottemab@hsd.k12.or.us, and the district tech number is 503-886-8956 Mon. - Thurs. 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m

Are you looking for Hawk gear?  Hawk gear   This year it's all online of course, just go to Spirit and Pride and type in our

school code 185486.  You can also call 800-854-4452 to order!

This year our Glencoe Feeder community is working together to improve the school experience for our students, K-12.  One way we are gathering information is by talking directly with students and ask key questions including "Do you feel that your family and culture is represented in your learning?" and "Is there are staff member that really connected with you?  If so, how did that happen?"  We will be calling two students in each grade level, 2 - 12, once per month (different students each month), sharing the data with staff, and creating goals to make a positive difference in the lives of our students and families.  If you have ideas around this topic, I would love to hear from you!

If you haven't yet done so, be sure to update your info in parent vue so you are getting all the communication from us!

    Enjoy this lovely fall weather!
