Hilhi Health Room

  • The Hilhi Health Room is provided to help your student stay healthy and focused on learning. Part of maintaining a healthy school environment is keeping sick students at home. Sick students have a hard time focusing on classroom activities and may spread their sickness to other students in the classroom.

    If your student has any of the following symptoms, we ask that you keep them at home and allow them to recover before returning to school.

    • Fever greater than 100.5°F
    • Vomiting more than twice over a 24-hour period
    • Diarrhea
    • Stiff neck or headache with accompanying fever
    • New onset of rash
    • Jaundice
    • Eye discharge

    In most cases, a student can return to school once they have been cleared by a physician. If you are unsure if your student should come to school, contact the Hilhi health assistant.
