• Hillsboro School District provides a variety of educational opportunities for students looking for something other than a traditional high school setting.  Below are 3 programs that Hillsboro School offers to their students through contracted agreements with PCC. 


    Each program REQUIRES district approval prior to enrollment, please work with your high school counselor to learn more about each programs enrollment process.


    • Gateway to College 

      • This program is designed for students 16 years old or older that wish to obtain their high school diploma while potentially earning college credit.  
    • Early College High School

    • HSD contracts with Beaverton School District for seats in ECHS, for more information regarding ECHS please click on the above link.  

        Early College High School (ECHS) is an opportunity for students to blend high school and college in a coherent, personalized and rigorous education program at Portland Community College. Designed as an option for the last two years of high school, students generally attend PCC full time for six terms. Tuition is paid for by the Hillsboro School District. It is possible for a student to earn a high school diploma, a Transfer Degree, an Associate's Degree or up to two years of college credit in their career pathway.
