  • Welcome to the Hillsboro School District's Office for School Performance. Here you will find tools and resources related to instruction, as well as documentation on key projects and plans to significantly increase student performance as well as remove the racial and economic achievement disparities in our community.     Dayle Spitzer Assistant Superintendent Dayle Spitzer has been an educator in the Hillsboro School District since 1993, teaching science, math and literacy at the middle school level as well as teaching intermediate grades in elementary school. In 2006, she became a teacher on special assignment (TOSA), supporting the improvement of Effective Teaching Strategies k-12, and mentoring new teachers. From 2007-2011, Dayle was Principal at Minter Bridge Elementary School, successfully launching and growing the school's Dual Language Program and closing the achievement gap. Dayle Served as the Executive Director of Elementary Schools from 2011-2015, leading the transition to Common Core, Smarter Balance Assessment, and Implementing HSD’s Instructional Framework. She is a certified McRel Leadership Trainer, Adjunct Faculty for Lewis and Clark’s Administrative Program, served on the Right Brain Governance Committee and has been a presenter at various conferences on the topics of Language Development, Promoting the success of Latino youth, and Instructional Leadership.  

    Travis Reiman Assistant Superintendent Travis Reiman began his career at North Eugene Alternative High School as an Instructional Assistant and has worked as a Teacher and Professional Development Specialist in schools in northwest Oregon, as well as in the states of Jalisco and Hidalgo in Mexico.  He has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Marylhurst University offering language and language development classes to students in the Master of Arts in Teaching program.  Additionally, Travis has served as an ESL Teacher and Case Manager at the middle level.  He spent two years as Dean of Students and one year as Principal of W.L. Henry Elementary School. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as Director of ELL and Migrant Programs for two years. Travis is bilingual in English and Spanish and has a true passion for closing the achievement gap by focusing on the educational attainment of each and every student.
