Dear Farmington View Families,
It’s exciting to think that the 2017-2018 school year is just on the horizon. We are looking forward to seeing the students back at school on September 5th (Kinders on the 7th).
I look forward to working together this year to continue with the momentum we had built last year. Now that I have a year under my belt at Farmington View, I have a much better understanding of the needs of our school and community. This year as a staff, our three main focus areas will be growing our STEM program, developing student writing and supporting our students with emotional needs. This focused approach within the school along with family collaboration will help our students reach even greater heights.
As a school community, there is a lot to be proud of and to celebrate. I am excited to see just how far our students can go as we move ahead and think innovatively. We will have a new science curriculum this year and also will be starting a “Maker Space” in the library that will help to foster ingenuity and creativity in a way will support college and career readiness. Come be a part of the fun and volunteer at the school so you can see all the great work that is happening!
