We have strong partnerships with local city and county agencies, chambers of commerce and large and small businesses. Collectively, these agencies and businesses offer an abundance of resources and information to make relocating to Hillsboro a smooth transition.

Steps for Enrollment

Identify Your Child's Home School
As a new resident, the first thing you should do is to confirm the “home school(s)” for your child(ren). You can find your home school by checking online at https://mybus.hsd.k12.or.us/Login.aspx?j=vms (enter "guest" for both user name and password).
Full instructions for using this tool. If the result is "Not Available," your address may not be recognized by the tool or it may not be in the Hillsboro School District. Please call the District’s Transportation Department at 503.844.1123 if you have any questions about identifying your home school.Register Your Child
To begin registration, stop by or visit your "home school" during office hours. You may also register at your school's kindergarten orientation. List of kindergarten orientation dates. For a list of all Hillsboro schools and contact information, visit the schools page under Schools in the blue navigation bar above. You can also register online, if you'd prefer.
Provide Required Documentation
Below is a checklist of what we would like for you to bring to the school in order to make the registration process as smooth as possible.Completed Enrollment Form (English) Enrollment Form (Spanish)

CIS form (school office) for immunizations
Google Apps Parent Permission Form, Google Apps Parent Permission Form Spanish
Proof of address (i.e., mortgage statement, rental agreement, utility bill)
Proof of legal name and age (i.e. birth certificate, current passport, etc.)*
*Documentation that may suffice includes records from a previous school; a hospital record or a baptismal record; or a signed affidavit from a parent, guardian, or other person in a parental relationship.
