Hillsboro Schools Foundation Innovative Education Grants
The Hillsboro Schools Foundation (HSF) will be awarding grants of up to $7,500 to fund innovative educational projects during the 2024-25 school year. HSF supports projects that put the tools of exploration, imagination, and self-expression directly into students’ hands, providing them with opportunities they would not otherwise have under normal school funding.Teachers, administrators, other staff, or even students or parent groups can apply by submitting a one-page abstract that briefly describes the project idea. There is no limit to the number of abstracts a school may submit. Abstracts will be reviewed by a grant committee, and semi-finalists will be invited to complete a full application.
Think you have a great idea? Talk it over with your colleagues, complete the abstract, have someone double-check your work, run it by your principal or administrator, and hit submit by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22. Contact HSF Executive Director Aron Carleson with questions: 503-726-2159 or aronc@wcchamber.org.
