Summer Meals in Hillsboro

  • Summer Meals in Hillsboro Summer break is here, which brings relief, joy and excitement for many of Hillsboro’s students.

Unfortunately, for some families it causes concern and added stress about how they will feed their families during the summer months. Nearly 50% of Hillsboro School District students are eligible to receive free meals from Hillsboro Schools during the school year; that equates to roughly 10,000 students that receive food assistance for breakfast or lunch during the school year.

During the summer months, Hillsboro School District sponsors free meals in 10 locations. Sack lunches and select hot items are available during the week at the times listed. These meals are available to children under the age of 18 years. Please keep this letter for reference or share it with families that you know may struggle with food insecurity when school is not in session.
