About Health Sciences

    The Health Sciences career learning area orients students to careers that promote health, wellness and diagnoses as well as treatment of injuries and diseases. Some of the careers involve working directly with people while others involve research or the collection and formatting of data and information. Work locations may be varied and may be in hospitals, medical or dental offices, laboratories, cruise ships, medevac units, sports areas, space centers, or within the community.
