Physical Education (PE)

  • Goal: As a physical education class, our ultimate goal is to make the class fun, and provide an environment where students become intrinsically motivated to be physically active throughout their entire life.

    All Areas All The Time

    • Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself except when appropriate.
    • Use equipment safely and appropriately.
    • Report all injuries or problems to teacher right away.
    • Listen when others are talking.
    • Support your classmates and teacher. 
    • Use an appropriate level of voice.
    • Use appropriate verbal and body language.
    • Come prepared with appropriate shoes and clothing.
    • Be honest during practice and game play.
    • Follow game rules.
    • Give your best effort.

     

    Transitions Between Activities

    • Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
    • Use an appropriate level of voice.

     

    • Make sure equipment is put away before going to another activity.
    • Help others if necessary.

    Transitions Out of Class

    • Always walk.
    • Line up quietly and facing forward.
    • Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
    • Walk silently in the hallways.
    • Give others space.

     

    • Make sure equipment is put away before leaving class. 
    • Take everything that you brought with you.

    Independent Work Time

    • Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
    • Give yourself space from others.

     

    • Allow others to have a successful working environment.
    • Use your time wisely.
    • Come up and ask if you have a question.
    • Follow the instructions of the activity.
    • Give your best effort.
    • Be honest during practice and game play.

     

    Team Work Time

    • Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself, except when appropriate.
    • Use equipment safely and appropriately.
    • Give others space
    • Use an appropriate level voice.
    • Allow others to have a successful working environment.
    • All group members participate appropriately.
    • Complete your task.
    • Help others if necessary.

    Restroom Use

    • Ask teacher before leaving.
    • Go directly to and from restroom.
    • Wash hands after bathroom use.
    • Leave and return quietly.

     

     

    • Be efficient with your time.
