Booster Club Officer Positions

President: The President shall be the executive officer of the corporation, shall preside at all meetings of the Executive Board and membership, shall oversee the financial affairs of the corporation and shall have responsibility for the general management of the corporation along with any other duties as may be prescribed by the Executive Board. The president shall be the voice of the Executive Board both written and verbal and be present at all meetings involving Booster Club. If there are Co-Presidents, one (1) shall be designated by mutual agreement, as the primary contact for the principal and/or the administration. Any communications verbal or written outside the approved budget or calendar of events must be communicated to the Executive Board before any commitments are made to faculty, principal or parent.
Vice President: The Vice President shall have overall responsibility for planning and carrying out activities and programs for the benefit of students and parents. The Vice President shall also be responsible for assisting the President in setting the calendar of events for the school year, preside over the initial committee meeting for each event, oversee selection of a committee chair, communicate and adhere to budget for each event, ensure all event documentation is available and up to date and any other duties as may be prescribed by the Executive Board.
Fundraising Coordinator: The Fundraising Coordinator shall have overall responsibility for coordinating, directing and supervising the fund raising committees. This shall include all fundraising activities including Skateworld Night, Restaurant Nights, etc. The Fundraising Coordinator will work closely with the President, Treasurer, and the fund raising committees to assure a financially successful year. The Fundraising Coordinator will also look for other fundraising opportunities to present to the Executive Board along with any other duties as may be prescribed by the Executive Board.
Treasurer: The Treasurer shall have overall responsibility for all corporate funds and shall perform or cause to be performed a full and accurate account of all financial records of the Corporation. The Treasurer will have responsibility of the deposit of all monies and other valuable assets in the name of the Corporation and to the credit of the Corporation in such depositories as may be designated by the Executive Board. The Treasurer will have responsibility of the disbursement of all funds, when proper to do so, making financial reports as to the financial condition of the Corporation to the general membership, filing appropriate government forms, and any other duties as may be prescribed by the Executive Board.
Secretary: The Secretary shall have overall responsibility for all record keeping. The Secretary shall perform or cause to be performed all official recording of the minutes of all proceedings of the meetings and actions, provision for notice of all meetings, to correspond, and any other duties as may be prescribed by the Executive Board.
Volunteer Coordinator: The Volunteer Coordinator shall organize the master volunteer list, committee lists and room parent list and any other duties as may be prescribed by the Executive Board.Candidates for President & Treasurer need to have current school year Booster Club involvement to include attendance of two regular Booster Club meetings and/or participation in planning either a Booster Club Fundraiser or Booster Community Event. Exception to this would be incoming new families w/ prior Booster Club involvement at previous school.
