Photo 1: once completed, the new secure entry vestibule will allow office staff to monitor and limit access into the building.
Photo 2-4: the finished hallways in the building are refreshed with new trim and paint after seismic and other upgrades.
Photos 5-6: work continues to finish the new elevator, including the shaft on the main and lower levels as well as the pit at the bottom.
Photo 7: shoring has been added in the cafeteria to support repairs in the gym above it.

Photos 1 and 2: crew members install paneling in the hallways and start removing floor protectors in the finished areas.
Photo 3: boards are re-installed in finished classrooms.
Photo 4: security cabling hangs from exposed ceilings, ready to be threaded through and connected.
Photo 5: a crew member continues work at the bottom of the elevator shaft, which now has concrete walls erected.
Photo 6: concrete has been freshly poured to restore the floor above the shaft.

Photos 1 and 2: painting has begun in the hallways and in the classrooms.

Photos 1 and 2: seismically-upgraded hallways have been sheetrocked, taped and drywall mud applied to prepare for painting.
Photo 3: crew members tape and mud sheetrocked walls in the classrooms after seismic upgrades.
Photo 4: in the gym, the Groner blue is being painted around the stage area.
Photo 5: walls are adjusted around the plumbing in restrooms.
Photo 6: work continues in the entry vestibule area, including framing of the interior door.
Photo 7: crew members build a frame for the sump pump in the elevator shaft; rebar will be added around it for an upcoming concrete pour.

Photos 1 and 2: seismic upgrades have been applied in the school hallways; sheetrocking is starting to be installed.
Photo 3: crew members are covering up walls in the classrooms.
Photos 4 and 5: domestic water pipe is also being worked on throughout the building.
Photo 6: rebar and framing are starting to be constructed in the elevator shaft for an upcoming concrete pour.

July 14, 2021
Photos 1 and 2: walls in the gym and stage area have been stripped to prepare for seismic upgrades there.
Photo 3: a crew member works deep in the elevator shaft.
Photos 4 and 5: walls also have been stripped in the hallways and specific areas in the classrooms. Plastic sheeting encloses the classroom areas to prevent dust and debris from reaching into the rest of the classroom.
Photo 6: roofing work is nearly complete on the north section of the building.

Photo 1: work begins on the roof to apply seismic upgrades and eventual reroofing.
Photos 2 and 3: the elevator shaft continues to be constructed. Removal of the concrete floor in this section has exposed the basement area underneath.
Photo 4: shoring supports the roof over the gym area.
Photo 5: a new vestibule is being framed at the main entrance to the building. Additional security will help monitor access.

Photos 1 and 2: with the concrete floor removed, the level underneath is exposed and work can begin on the elevator shaft. .

Photos 1 and 2: saw-cutting has started to break up part of the concrete floor above the lower level to create an elevator shaft for ADA access.
Photo 3: an electrical panel and associated wiring will be removed on the lower level to make way for the elevator door.
Photos 4 and 5: select walls are being exposed to allow access for seismic upgrade work.
