Photos 3 and 4: a temporary structure covers up a server rack as fireproofing takes place directly overhead (protective insulation sheets are placed around the structure during work). Fans between the top of the structure and the servers help keep them cool. After a successful inspection, the ceiling grid can be re-installed and the project moved on to the next phase.

Photo 3: the main underlying issue for fireproofing is to prevent sprayed material from entering the still-operational servers. A temporary covering structure will be built as a solution. The project foreman demonstrates the use of insulating sheets that will be placed as side covers. These coverings still allow air circulation around the servers while protecting them.
