• IB students who have registered to test in the May 2020 session, please read the adjacent letter. You should also have received this via email on March 23. In addition, the following email was sent on April 3:

    You were sent an email update on March 22 giving an overview of the IBO's rationale for exam cancelation but offering no real guidance of how students would receive scores (which matter for college credit) or what the timeline for that would be. 
     
    Well, that information is now out and here are the key takeaways:
    • Course marks (1-7) will be determined by a calculation of students' performance on coursework as well as teacher-submitted predicted grades
    • All coursework must be submitted to the IBO by April 20 (which means teachers will need it sooner so they can grade and prepare student work for submission)
    • Students and teachers can work with the IB Coordinator to request extensions from the IBO as needed
    • Marks will be released on July 5

    There are a couple things we need to make sure testing students do in the next few weeks to ensure they complete their IB testing course:
    1. Ensure all IB coursework is completed and submitted to their teacher(s) before April 20
    2. Complete this form using their school email account by June 1 so that Mrs. Clemens can:
      1. Request IB transcripts be sent to the college of choice for seniors
      2. Email students their login information for accessing results on July 5
