Staff can e-mail or fax information directly to the benefits dept. or call for instructions on how to do that. Also, consultations regarding leave or benefits should be done over the phone or by e-mail. Staff should not come by in person.

    Kaiser Extends COVID-19 Treatment Benefit Policy
    January 4, 2020 - Kaiser Permanente is extending its policy to waive member out-of-pocket costs for inpatient and outpatient services when treating COVID-19 through at least Mar. 31, 2021, or as long as the ongoing national public health emergency lasts.

    Members who are diagnosed with COVID-19 will not have to pay copays or other cost-share fees related to their medicare and treatment of COVID-19, even if they have to stay in the hospital. This waiver applies to all admissions whose date of service is from Apr. 1, 2020, through at least Mar. 31, 2021. 

    This waiver of member out-of-pocket costs will apply to all places of service, including but not limited to hospitalization, office visit, telemedicine, emergency room, and urgent care. The waiver also applies to inpatient medical, inpatient pharmacy, outpatient medical, and transportation costs associated with the treatment of a COVID-19 diagnosis.

    Landed's shared-equity down payment program invests alongside employees to help them reach a 20% down payment. Landed’s funds come in the form of an equity investment, meaning homebuyers share in a portion of the gain (or loss, if any) of the home’s value once the partnership is ended—typically by sale or refinance.
