How to Volunteer
Volunteers make a big difference to the educational experience of our students. From helping out in the classroom, to providing career planning assistance, to running after-school clubs, volunteers are welcome and appreciated at all of our schools. Whether you’re interested in a one-time, one-hour project or an ongoing opportunity, there is a place for you in our school community. Because the safety of students is of primary importance, there are a few steps required in order for a volunteer application to be fully approved.
Volunteering is as easy as
Please read the district's Volunteer Handbook and complete the Required Volunteer Trainings. You will be asked to confirm completion during the volunteer application process. Estimated time to complete: approximately 90 minutes.
Complete the district-wide volunteer application by completing the Volunteer Application*
*The information you provide will be used to complete a background check through the state's criminal records system and the Oregon Department of Education's sexual misconduct database.
Submit the Fingerprint Background Clearance to start the process AT ANY TIME.
