Liberty solar array
In May 2023, with investment by the 2017 Hillsboro School District Bond, a photovoltaic solar array canopy was installed at the rear of Liberty High School's campus. The array enables students in the sustainable agriculture and design career-technical educational program to learn more about sustainable solar power systems. The array can generate up to 64 kW of electric power, which will be fed into the utility system. The canopy also serves to provide cover for a workspace for the students to craft their design projects.

View the current power output and a summary of the environmental impacts to date on Liberty's PV monitoring page. More information about the project can be found on Liberty's bond page.
