Energy Trust of Oregon Promotional Video Featuring HSD and the Redmond School District
Last summer, Energy Trust of Oregon filmed interviews in the Hillsboro and Redmond School Districts to highlight work that had been done in partnership with their staff to increase efficiency and save energy. HSD’s portion focused on projects at Liberty High School –the HVAC system renovation and the solar array installation outside of the Sustainable Ag/Design building.

The HSD Conservation & Climate Response Team

The Hillsboro School District (HSD) Conservation & Climate Response (CCR) Team is a staff group focused on resource conservation, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability practices across district facilities. They work to minimize environmental impact, manage energy usage, and run initiatives like the annual Resource Conservation Challenge, often held in spring.

  • Context - The team is part of the HSD Facilities department, supporting the district's broader environmental goals.
