Use of Facilities

The Hillsboro School District is proud of our schools and sports fields and is pleased to be able to use these facilities for educational and extracurricular activities for students, as well as make them available to community users. Due to the ongoing and increasing costs associated with maintaining these facilities, and after an extensive review, we will be increasing facility use fees as of June 1, 2025. This is our first increase since the 2018-19 school year. The new rate fees are applicable to all community organizations as defined by the HSD Board Policy KG-AR (1). 

Fees are assessed based on the facility used, length of time, and other details of the reservation in accordance with the priority tier of the requester. A description of tiers can be found in KG-AR(1), and the associated fee schedule can be accessed in KG-AR(2). Non-profit entities will have their rate increase rolled out over three years, paying 33% of direct costs in 2025-26; 42% in 2026-27; and 50% in 2027-28.

The only way to request use of a District facility is by creating a Facilitron account and submitting a request online.
