Christine Lemieux Selected as New Nurse Supervisor

June 4, 2026 - Christine Lemieux has been selected as HSD’s new nurse supervisor, following the departure of Jennette Ferrill, who is returning to her home state of Michigan to be near family. 

Lemieux is a Registered Nurse with more than eight years of pediatric and adult acute care experience including pediatric emergency, NICU, postpartum, inpatient pediatric, neurovascular, cardiac, oncology, orthopedic, and medical-surgical nursing. 

After earning her BSN in 2016, Lemieux spent six years at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, first as a Float Pool RN, then as Relief Charge RN, then as a Staff RN. From there, she moved to Randall Children’s Hospital as both a Staff RN and Relief Charge RN in the Children’s Emergency Department. These positions included a great deal of attention to detail, data-driven decision making, care coordination, and collaboration with others to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients and their families. She completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing in March of 2025. 

A strong communicator with demonstrated leadership and staff supervision skills, Lemieux has a deep commitment to providing equitable, trauma-informed care while supporting student health, safety, and wellness. She is excited to learn how her previous experiences can both be leveraged within and further enhanced by this school district role. 

She begins her new role on Monday, June 8, 2026.
