New Protected Family Medical Leave Administration

HSD is making a change to its Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) administration, effective Tuesday, April 1, 2025. 

• For leave start dates before April 1, 2025: All PFML claims - whether approved or pending - will continue to be managed by The Standard Insurance.
• For leave start dates on or after April 1, 2025: All new PFML claims must be submitted directly through the State’s Frances Online system.
