Fall Superintendent Coffee Chats

Superintendent Reiman will hold four coffee chats this fall: three in-person and one virtual for Spanish-speakers: 

  • Thursday, October 23 - 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Uptown Coffee, 2020 NE Cornell Rd., Hillsboro
  • Wednesday, October 29 - 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Starbucks, 7415 NE Imbrie Dr., Hillsboro
  • Thursday, November 13 - 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Google Meet for Spanish-speakers. 
  • Friday, December 5 - 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Barnes & Noble, 11125 NE Evergreen Parkway, Hillsboro. This chat will kick off the Hillsboro Schools Foundation’s Barnes & Noble Book Fair event, which will raise money to buy new library books for HSD schools. Superintendent Reiman will read a book to children afterward at 3 p.m.

These casual, no-host, drop-in events provide an opportunity for HSD constituents to meet with the Superintendent, learn more about important activities taking place in our schools, and ask any questions they may have. Please note that this is not the forum for sharing concerns about situations involving specific students - those will be referred to the principal, their supervisor, and/or other staff as appropriate to maintain student privacy. 

Charlas y café con el superintendente durante el otoño
El superintendente Reiman llevará a cabo cuatro charlas con café este otoño, tres presenciales y una virtual para hispanohablantes:

  • Jueves, 23 de octubre: 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. en Uptown Coffee, 2020 NE Cornell Rd., Hillsboro
  • Miércoles, 29 de octubre: 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. en Starbucks, 7415 NE Imbrie Dr., Hillsboro
  • Jueves, 13 de noviembre: 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. a través de Google Meet, para hispanohablantes.
  • Viernes, 5 de diciembre: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. en Barnes & Noble, 11125 NE Evergreen Parkway, Hillsboro. Esta charla dará inicio a la Feria del Libro de Barnes & Noble de Hillsboro Schools Foundation, que recaudará fondos para comprar nuevos libros para las bibliotecas de las escuelas de HSD. Posteriormente, el superintendente Reiman leerá un libro a los estudiantes a las 3:00 p.m.

Estos eventos casuales, sin necesidad de cita previa y de participación abierta, ofrecen a los miembros de HSD la oportunidad de reunirse con el superintendente, informarse sobre las actividades importantes que se llevan a cabo en nuestras escuelas y hacer preguntas. Por favor, tenga en cuenta que este no es un encuentro para compartir inquietudes sobre situaciones que involucren a estudiantes específicos; estas inquietudes se deben remitir al director escolar, al supervisor o a otro miembro del personal, según corresponda, para proteger la privacidad de los estudiantes.
