Featured Event: O-ACE Students Take to the Skies

Back in December, some of the students participating in our Oregon Aerospace Careers for Everyone (O-ACE) program and NextGen Aviation Clubs went flying and put their learning into action. Many thanks to previous and current O-ACE teachers, Sheryl Brownlie and Jorge Bravo, for building these programs into what they are today, and helping students explore their passion for aviation. According to Chris Barber - program champion, Oregon Air Show Foundation Board Member, and pilot: “Seeing the students’ excitement as they climbed out of the plane, you realized it was genuinely life-changing for them. Evento destacado: Estudiantes de O-ACE surcan los cielos
En diciembre, algunos estudiantes que participan en el programa Profesionales Aeroespaciales de Oregón para Todos (O-ACE, por sus siglas en inglés) y en el Club de Aviación NextGen tuvieron la oportunidad de volar y poner en práctica lo que han aprendido. Expresamos nuestro sincero agradecimiento a los maestros de O-ACE, tanto anteriores como actuales, Sheryl Brownlie y Jorge Bravo, por haber dado forma a estos programas y por apoyar a los estudiantes en el descubrimiento y desarrollo de su entusiasmo por la aviación. Chris Barber, promotor del programa, miembro de la Mesa Directiva de Oregon Air Show Foundation y piloto, señaló: «Ver la emoción de los estudiantes al bajar del avión confirma que fue una experiencia verdaderamente transformadora.
