Featured Event: Summer Graduation

On Wednesday, August 19, twelve HSD seniors celebrated the milestone of high school graduation after earning the final credits needed over the summer. Surrounded by family and friends, the graduates from Glencoe, Liberty, and Oak Street Campus were applauded for their determination to see their K-12 education through to its completion. Superintendent Reiman shared: “Oftentimes, students who graduate in the summer have taken a different path to graduation than other students. You have overcome obstacles that others have not. And we are here to celebrate the path you have taken. I love the quote: ‘There is not ONE path. There is not even the RIGHT path. Evento destacado: Graduación de verano
El miércoles, 19 de agosto, doce estudiantes de grado 12 del Distrito Escolar de Hillsboro celebraron el importante logro de graduarse de la escuela preparatoria tras obtener los créditos necesarios durante el verano. Rodeados de familiares y amigos, los graduados de las escuelas preparatorias Glencoe, Liberty y del Plantel de Oak Street fueron reconocidos por su determinación y perseverancia para completar con éxito su educación K-12. El superintendente Reiman compartió el siguiente mensaje: «A menudo, los estudiantes que se gradúan en el verano han seguido un camino diferente al de otros estudiantes. Han superado obstáculos que otros no han enfrentado. Y hoy estamos aquí para celebrar el camino que han recorrido. Me encanta la cita: ‘No existe UN solo camino. Ni siquiera hay un camino CORRECTO. Solo existe TU propio camino’. Y su camino los trajo hasta aquí esta noche».
