Portland Black College Expo

HSD juniors and seniors who identify as Black, African, or African American are invited to attend the free Black College Expo on Thursday, January 16. This event is designed to give students access to college resources, on-the-spot acceptances, scholarships, seminars, and workshops while they connect with representatives from over 50 colleges and universities. HSD will provide snacks and transportation to and from the Expo. Students must bring their transcripts and ACT/SAT scores with them if they are interested in potentially receiving college acceptance at the event. 

The deadline to sign up has been extended to Friday, January 10, but please note that space is limited! Interested students must complete the sign-up, permission, and dietary restriction (food order) form and either return it to their school’s BSU advisor or scan and email it to Ms. Pico ASAP.

Los estudiantes junior y senior de HSD que se identifican como de raza negra, africanos o afroamericanos están invitados el jueves, 16 de enero a asistir al evento gratuito Portland Black College Expo. Este evento está diseñado para brindar a los estudiantes acceso a recursos universitarios, aceptaciones inmediatas, becas, seminarios y talleres mientras conocen a representantes de más de 50 universidades de 2 y 4 años. HSD proporcionará bocadillos y transporte de ida y vuelta al evento. Los estudiantes deben traer consigo sus expedientes académicos y puntajes de ACT/SAT si están interesados en recibir una posible aceptación universitaria en el evento.

La fecha límite para inscribirse se ha extendido hasta el viernes, 10 de enero. Por favor, tenga en cuenta que el espacio es limitado. Los estudiantes interesados deben completar el formulario de inscripción, permiso y restricciones dietéticas (solicitud de alimentos) y devolverlo al asesor de BSU de la escuela o escanearlo y enviarlo por correo electrónico a la Sra. Pico lo antes posible.
