Century Seniors Help Pump Up the Blood Supply

Century High School seniors Nghi Nguyen, Joseph Ross, Jade Hazes, Teresita Recillas Mata, Aracely Ramirez Contreras, and Alana Nugyen held a blood drive this fall for their senior service project. The students are all part of the Health Sciences Pathway, participating in Health Sciences II, as well as the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Tech, and Phlebotomy Tech programs. The drive yielded 56 registrations and the collection of 39 units of life-saving blood. Thirty-six of the donors were giving blood for the first time! Look for another drive in April 2025.
