Lamin Singhateh Century High School Rotary Student of the Month

Meet Lamin Singhateh, a senior at Century High School, and Hillsboro Rotary’s Student of the Month pictured here with Scott Thomas, Leadership Class Advisor, and Perry Thoorsell, Rotary President. A student leader, Lamin’s guiding principle daily in life is to make someone’s day better, it doesn’t have to be anything huge, just something small but meaningful, as a kind word or gesture of friendship. Lamin’s goal is to study to be an engineer, he’s not sure if it will end up being an electrical, mechanical or software engineer as they all interest him. He plans to attend either Howard University, Seattle University or the University of Washington for his degree, he will surely succeed wherever he chooses to study. Great job Lamin, you make us all Proud to be HSD!
