Liberty's Team AEMBOT Winning Streak

Congratulations to Liberty High School robotics team, AEMBOT, who traveled to Vancouver, Washington, on Saturday, October 20, 2024 to compete in the highly anticipated Storm Surge robotics tournament. AEMBOT achieved remarkable success, continuing their 3-event winning streak alongside alliance partners 4043 (Nerd Herd,) 9567 (Storm Breakers,) and 9999 (The Gazelles.)

This impressive victory highlights the hard work and commitment of the team, as well as the invaluable mentoring and support provided by lead mentor Steffan Ledgerwood and the dedicated volunteer mentors. Their guidance has been instrumental in establishing AEMBOT’s reputation this season as one of the most reliable and high-scoring teams in the world.

AEMBOT looks forward to building on this success in future seasons and continuing to inspire innovation and teamwork within our community.

During the weekend of of October 6 and 7,team AEMBOT  had a remarkable showcase of talent and teamwork in two exciting tournaments starting with the Girls' Generation Tournament, where their talented girls and nonbinary team members secured an impressive first-place victory, showcasing their skills, creativity, and dedication. Their hard work and commitment truly paid off, making everyone incredibly proud.

Following this achievement, AEMBOT took on the First Chance Championship, where they entered two robots into the competition. Both teams demonstrated exceptional strategy and resilience, ultimately clinching first and second place!
