About Glencoe High School

  • Glencoe High School, established in 1980, is located in the northwest corner of Hillsboro, Oregon. It is one of 37 schools in the Hillsboro School District, the fourth-largest public school district in the state of Oregon. Glencoe is accredited through the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, with an enrollment of approximately 1650 students.

    The school year is organized into two 18-week semesters with permanent grades transcripted at the end of each semester. Classes are taken on an 8-period block schedule; the majority of students take 6-8 classes per year. Each passing course earns 0.5 credit per semester.

    Glencoe offers a variety of educational options including Advanced Placement, dual credit, and career and college pathways.
