    Covid-19 Information & Updates

With current school closures and taking action to eliminate the risk of virus exposure to our students, the following decisions have been made for National Honor Society:

Hours: Seniors will only be required to complete 10 of their original 20 service hours. We are disregarding hour categories (individual/group) for our 2020 senior class. Juniors will still be required to complete 40 total hours, but they will no longer be required to complete 20 by the end of this school year. They will need 40 total hours by the end of their senior year. Changes will be made if school closures continue into the 2020/2021 school year.

We would also like to emphasize that under no circumstances should students be leaving the safety of their homes to complete service hours for National Honor Society right now.

Induction of New Members: Sophomores who were earning a cumulative 3.5+ GPA as of the end of Semester 1 will be receiving their NHS invitation in September 2020 of their Junior year. We will have our induction ceremony in October. If school closures continue, changes will be made to this plan.
